First of all, the reason why I can’t post pictures taken inside MMH, it’s prohibited. They’re just protecting the privacy of their patients.

Thursday was the last day for our Mental Hospital duty, after our Grand Socialization, my other classmates went home, my friends and I stayed. For the following reasons:

1. 1. to finish our paper works
   2. to drink
   3. to drink
   4. to drink
   5. to drink

Such a busy schedule that everyone would choose to stay at the dorm and face our respective tasks!~ But for me, I made my paperworks while everybody’s asleep so that I wouldn’t cram!

Thursday afternoon when Karen, Imarie, Jamie, Marc and I went to the beach. With a bottle of Vodka, Iced Tea, Spaghetti, Sliced Bread and Cheese on my bag! Okay, add our phones, camera and my umbrella.

Friday morning, we ate at an eatery near our dorm, since our classmates went home, our breakfast inside the dorm would be impossible, for everyone’s lazy to do tasks during the mornings, after breakfast, Goodness! the boys took a bottle of GSM Blue and wtf!, started drinking! thank God it was my first day (period) so I passed. hehehe.

Friday Night~ I could’nt understand why they asked us to buy foods outside when they cooked another batch of viands on the dorm!! It was a waste of food.

We had:

• Pork Adobo
• Menudo
• Pancit
• Tortang Sardinas
• Hotdogs
• and some veggies.

all for 6 people!

My MMH experience was really memorable >.< Pictures could explain how happy I was. From day 1- to day 12!

After an exhausting day 5! Another busy day caught everyone. Again, we went inside the hospital and mingled to our patients.

It was my friend’s birthday party so we celebrated after the duty. Karen and I bought cupcakes as a surprise

Before dinner I went our for a pedicure, HE (not yet my boyfriend) went to my dorm without any notice. I was shock that I went back seeing him eating beside my friend, interrogatin him. LOL! everybody saw him and teasing me. It was ackward but deep inside sweet.

Maybe this was the most exhausting day of the week, or else on the whole rotation. It was my first time to meet my patient. I must say, it’s kinda hard to mingle with them at first but as time goes by, you’ll understand why they act like that.

I met my patient, she’s an unknown woman with Bipolar Manic Disorder and talking with here is honestly boring. Flat affect, would talk only once you ask her and would stare somewhere all the time. It’s really hard to get her trust, but I am happy that she remembered my name after I took her again from her ward.

We were told to talk to the patient the whole time, except for Therapy Sessions. On the first day we had Music and Art Therapy. Which was really good!

So I arrived 8pm, I wasn’t able to catch my friends’ bus so I decided to go there by myself. I saw my clothes, still hanging on the clothesline, so I huridly picked them up surely because they will be smoked alot when the boys come.

It was a very busy night since everybody’s preparing for the morning activity. Therapies, paperworks and exercise piling up.

Hey guys! It’s been a while since I last went online, I missed everything. Mental Hospital is keeping me busy. I feel so stressed that even our lunch break are spent with a short nap. Sometimes I feel like I wanna shift course, something that’s related to computer and internet like a CCNA. Institutions that give CCNA Training and CCNA boot camp would really be a big help for aspirants like me.

Mariveles Life, won’t give me time to open my laptop and sneak on my blogs. Hihi! Nevertheless, i’m enjoying.

My 2nd week was awesome! though it’s more exhausting ‘coz my schedules are so tight and I really have to multi-task. So yeah! meeting our patiens were the most exciting! others are funny but others have flat affect, staring at one place, would answer to questions only if you ask them. We really have to be patient especially in handling patients who are very hyper.
